On Wednesday 25th July, Huntington’s WA was invited to “The Art of the Possible” organised as part of the Sustainable Health Review.
The showcase event had just over 15 organisations from WA making great bounds in digital health innovation.
Jamie Roberston (Project Manager) with Lenni Duffield (HWA Executive Director) and the Minister for Health, Hon Robert Cook.
Huntington’s WA was invited to present the ImpactHD app, which focuses on the importance of health and wellbeing for those with neurological conditions.
Perhaps the smallest organisation (and one of only two Not-For-Profits) in the room, Huntington’s WA proved they are making great progress with their research informed app.
Over three sessions, Jamie Robertson – Project Manager, Nicole Lau – Project Officer and new Executive Director Lenni Duffield had the opportunity to explain about the ImpactHD process and the research behind it.
The promising app and it’s future stages were well received and generated excitement and interest from local politicians and carers alike.
