1. Exercise For a Reason

If you are finding it hard to exercise, find a reason, set a goal. Think of something that interests you, excites you, and challenges you. Once you start to see and feel the changes from the inside out, nothing will stop you. Try training for a fun run, a mini triathlon or an adventure race.

2. Do Something You Enjoy

Find something that you enjoy, something that you look forward to, knowing that you will feel amazing afterwards. There are so many ways to exercise, it doesn’t mean you have to be in a gym.

3. Focus On The Positives

There are so many incredible benefits from exercising that encompass our whole wellbeing, mental, spiritual and physical. Rather than focusing on what’s hard, have a positive mindset, knowing you will feel so much better at the end of your session.

4. Don’t Do Too Much Too Soon

When starting out on a health kick it is important to build a strong foundation of strength and fitness, this does not occur overnight, this happens by a consistent effort over a period of time. Make a realistic plan when you begin, with the mindset of it being a part of your life.

5. Be Consistent

Consistency is necessary when wanting to achieve anything in your life. It is the same with your health and fitness, what you put into your body you will get out of it. So if you’re right at the beginning of your journey, create a realistic plan, surround yourself with people who believe in you and want the best for you, ask for help, understand that you will have tough days, be consistent and never give up.
